Its a new day at Dover Schools! With the advent of our newly restructured program for students with a penchant for advanced academics, we have embraced and support the ongoing effort to meet the needs of all of our students. Through their dedication, enthusiasm and creativity, our staff is providing the spark that will ignite a passion for learning which will follow our children throughout their lives. Our children are excelling in a curriculum that is both academically rigorous and intellectually challenging, providing the most advanced academics in the history of our district. We have tripled the number of students scoring Advanced Proficient on formalized testing, which is in part a testament to the curriculum advances and extraordinary teaching that is taking place. I want to assure you that Dover Schools fully support this program both academically and financially, and that full support is included in the 2010-2011 budget.
